We hold a large stock of the following types of monitors:
NORM Detection
- GM and Scintillation Probes – for identification of NORM in plant, equipment, sand, sludge, etc.
- Can detect NORM at lowest regulatory limits.
- Readings displayed in cps and / or Bq/cm2.
- IS and non-IS versions available.
Dose Rate Measurement
- Compensated GM and Scintillation Probes – for measuring dose rates around radioactive materials and / or work with x-rays present.
- Readings displayed in nano, micro, or milli Sieverts per hour.
- IS and non-IS versions available.
A wide range of dose rate monitors are available, depending on the radiation field(s) you need to measure. Including monitors to detect and quantify – low and high energy x-rays, pulsed x-rays, low and high energy gamma rays, neutrons, and combi monitors able to measure neutron + gamma rays.
Personnel Monitoring
Lucion hold a large stock of personal electronic dosimeters, including the following manufacturers – Mirion, Southern Scientific, Thermo Fisher and Tracerco.

Radon Survey Equipment
We hold a selection of radon monitoring equipment, some of which is available for hire, while others will require use by a specialist.
Available for hire is the AlphaE for radon monitoring.
