Mini 900 with EP15
Thermo Scientific’s Mini 900 with EP15 probe is a trusted, industry-standard contamination monitor for laboratory and industrial use. Portable or benchtop, it combines durable construction and simple operation with excellent sensitivity to low-energy beta emitters and alpha particles above 3 MeV.
The EP15 uses a halogen-quenched Geiger Muller tube with a thin mica window and 15 cm² detection area, making it well suited to detecting soft beta emitters such as C-14, S-35, Ca-45, and I-131, as well as alpha contamination on surfaces.
