Our specialist radiation company, Lucion Radiation Protection Services Limited, has successfully renewed its membership with SEQual, the not-for-profit, industry-owned pre-qualification platform for the UK offshore energy supply chain.
This renewal follows the submission of the company’s latest environmental, social and governance (ESG) and social responsibility data, demonstrating Lucion’s continued commitment to operational excellence and sustainable business practices.
What Is SEQual?
SEQual is a member-led platform designed to simplify and accelerate the pre-qualification process for both buyers and suppliers in the UK offshore energy sector including major operators BP, Shell, Harbour Energy, Ithaca Energy, and TotalEnergies. By developing a standardised and trustworthy system for supplier assurance, SEQual removes duplication and inefficiencies from the supply chain, benefiting all parties involved.
The platform has adopted a subset of the United Nations Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC®) to classify products and services. For Lucion Radiation Protection Services, our UNSPSC covers:
- Decommissioning Programme and Project Management Services
- Business and Corporate Management Consultation Services
- Marine Consultancy Services
- Personal Safety Devices
The successful renewal reinforces Lucion position as a trusted supplier within the offshore energy sector and provides the business unit with enhanced opportunities to engage with major energy operators.
Lucion Radiation Protection’s Communications & Contracts Manager, Caroline Brodie, commented:
“Renewing our SEQual membership is a testament to the hard work our teams have put into strengthening our ESG credentials and social responsibility initiatives. This achievement demonstrates our commitment to transparency, sustainable practices, and continuous improvement.
Being part of the SEQual community allows us to showcase these values to the clients who matter most, whilst contributing to a more efficient and responsible supply chain across the energy sector.”
Matt Brodie, Business Unit Director at Lucion Radiation Protection Services, added:
“Our renewed SEQual membership represents a significant advantage for both our business and our clients. It provides major energy operators with the assurance they need regarding our capabilities, health and safety standards, and environmental practices are verified through a robust, centralised system.
This means we can respond more quickly to opportunities, reduce administrative burden on both sides, and ultimately deliver our specialist radiation protection services more efficiently to clients across the UK offshore energy sector.”
