Meet the team supporting Midlands Engine at MIPIM 2017

A team from Delta-Simons will be returning to MIPIM 2017 in Cannes next month, along with around 23,000 investors and property professionals for the world's largest property and investment fair. Once again Delta-Simons is representing Team Lincolnshire which is part of the wider Midlands Engine, a Midlands-wide delegation with ten other Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and 49 private and public sector partners, exhibiting for the first time at the global property and real estate show from 14th March to 17th March. This year all the Midland LEPs are working collaboratively to showcase more than £14 billion worth of projects and investment sites with themes ranging from opportunities surrounding the Midlands connectivity offer to the region's Enterprise Zones, housing and commercial schemes.  A programme of up to 50 presentations, panel discussions and receptions will be showcased in the Midlands UK pavilion. Alex FergusonDelta-Simon's Alex Ferguson and Paul Bennett are the representatives supporting Team Lincolnshire: Alex Ferguson is Managing Director at Delta-Simons.  Alex has been working with Delta-Simons' key customers since joining in 2001, delivering multidisciplinary solutions for UK and international developers. In this time he has gained extensive experience and knowledge of a wide range of property acquisition, development and divestiture projects. Alex has a keen commercial awareness of how to create value from brownfield land challenges and is working with property clients to integrate sustainability and ‘wellness' considerations into the property sector.   Alex recently qualified as a WELL™ Certified Accredited Professional. PPaul Bennettaul Bennett is Unit Director for the Midlands region, having originally joined Delta-Simons in 1996 as an Environmental Scientist. Paul provides consultancy advice on in-ground risk including contaminated land, geotechnics and ecology to developers, advising on feasibility, planning, designing and managing multi-disciplinary projects on commercial, industrial and residential land uses. The Midlands Engine is working hard to accelerate growth across the whole region and Local Authorities, LEPs and businesses are all collaborating to bring this ambition to fruition. "We feel that the Midlands UK Pavilion will present even more possibilities – as it will enable us to stand side by side with other regions in the East and West Midlands to compete on a global stage.
