EHS team welcome new consultant

Rebecca has worked in operations within the retail sector for the last four years; during that time she developed an interest in health and safety, and subsequently sought out opportunities to get involved in this field of work.

Rebecca gained a degree in Law from Lancaster University in 2011 and went on to work for JD Williams at their head office based in Manchester. During her time there, she acted as the health and safety advocate for both her own office department and the wider stores estate. As part of this, she completed the IOSH Managing Safely Course and her NEBOSH General certificate.

Rebecca’s new role will involve working within the EHS team to support the delivery of EHS client projects as well as supporting in developing internal health and safety programs within Delta Simons.

As part of her new role, Rebecca will be undertaking further EHS training courses over the next few months including DSE (ergonomics) assessor training, Pregnancy Risk Assessment training and Asbestos awareness training.
