Scott’s career spans the full spectrum of structural investigation services, from concrete and masonry surveying to intrusive and non-destructive testing techniques across bridges, buildings, rail infrastructure, and highways networks.

Since joining Lucion, Scott has been responsible for developing and expanding the company’s structural investigation offering, building on the strong foundations established through UKAS accreditation for concrete surveying. His focus is on delivering technically robust solutions, developing high-performing teams, and positioning Lucion Infrastructure as the go-to provider for structural investigation services across the UK.

Scott has held senior operational and divisional leadership positions with leading testing organisations, where he built a reputation for combining deep technical expertise with strong commercial acumen. His hands-on experience encompasses concrete condition assessments, half-cell potential surveys, ferroscan analysis, RAAC surveys, floor slab load assessments, and highway coring programmes.

Throughout his career, Scott has managed large-scale structural investigation projects for asset owners, local authorities, contractors, and consultants. His expertise covers both intrusive fabric surveys and non-destructive testing methods, enabling him to provide practical, informed recommendations that support critical decision-making around structural integrity, maintenance planning, and asset management.
