Rob Kirkaldy brings two decades of acoustic consultancy expertise to his role as Head of Acoustics & Noise at Lucion Delta-Simons Ltd.

Having graduated with a first-class honours degree in Acoustics from the University of Salford, Rob went on to gain significant experience and expertise across a diverse portfolio of acoustic projects. His particular areas of expertise include:

Noise impact and planning assessments;
Residential (including mixed‑use) developments;
Retail and public house developments;
Distribution centres and commercial parks;
Noise complaint investigations;
Expert witness work; and
Construction and operational mitigation strategies.

Throughout his career, Rob has delivered complex acoustic assessments, led project teams, and provided strategic technical guidance across environmental, residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. He has consistently driven business growth through strong commercial awareness, client development, and delivery of high‑quality and commercially viable acoustic solutions.
