QHSE Director
Chris Parr is the QHSE Director at Lucion Services, bringing over 15 years of comprehensive experience in the asbestos industry.
Chris’ expertise spans across all disciplines of asbestos management, with a particular focus on quality assurance, health and safety, and environmental management systems.

His commitment to health and safety excellence is further demonstrated through his NEBOSH National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and IOSH Managing Safely certification.
As QHSE Director, Chris holds overall responsibility for the QHSE performance of Lucion Services employees. He leads the development and management of Lucion’s standard and technical operating procedures, while implementing and maintaining integrated business management systems across the organisation. His role encompasses the development of compliance strategies, policies and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance and control processes throughout the company.
Chris oversees comprehensive staff training and development programmes, ensuring all team members maintain the necessary skills and certifications. He is responsible for maintaining robust health and safety compliance measures and environmental management systems, as well as overseeing accident and incident investigations. His role includes detailed performance reporting and analysis, ensuring continuous improvement in all aspects of QHSE operations.
With a comprehensive understanding of UK and EU safety and asbestos legislation and regulations, Chris has developed strong working relationships with leading industry bodies. He regularly collaborates with the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), Asbestos Testing and Consultancy Association (ATaC), British Standards Institute (BSI), British Occupational Health Society (BOHS), and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to ensure Lucion maintains the highest industry standards and best practices.
Throughout his career, Chris has led numerous successful initiatives that have enhanced Lucion’s operational excellence. He has developed and implemented integrated management systems that have streamlined operations while maintaining rigorous quality standards. His establishment of robust compliance strategies has strengthened the organisation’s position as an industry leader, while his enhancement of staff training and authorisation processes has ensured full compliance with UKAS guidance RG8 & Lab30.
In March 2025, Chris joined the ATaC Management Committee, where he contributes to shaping industry standards and promoting best practices in the asbestos testing, inspection, and consulting sector. His expertise in developing compliance strategies and implementing innovative technological solutions makes him a valuable voice in industry discussions and policy development.
