Andrew Wise

With a strong foundation of 20 years as a Design Engineer and Project Manager at Atkins in both UK and Middle East operations, Andrew joined Lucion in 2014, bringing extensive expertise in rail and highways infrastructure projects. His portfolio includes significant contributions to major transport hubs, including Merseyrail, Liverpool Underground and London Kings Cross.

As Account Manager for National Highways since 2014, Andrew has successfully overseen asbestos survey programmes across multiple areas, including Areas 7, 2, 10 and 12, working collaboratively with main contractors such as Skanska, Costain and Balfour Beatty Mott Macdonald. He has been instrumental in developing systems and procedures to meet client needs, particularly in establishing asbestos surveying protocols for highways assets in compliance with GG 105 guidance.

Andrew’s expertise extends to managing complex multi-discipline projects, particularly in the rail sector. His experience includes managing refurbishment schemes for stations, signal boxes, retail facilities and offices. Notable achievements include leading a rolling programme to renovate 40 local commuter stations with Merseyrail and managing major refurbishment works at five Liverpool Underground stations, all while maintaining operational services.
