Abdul Fahm
Head of Environmental Due Diligence & Sustainability
Abdul is an experienced environmental consultant with over 20 years of expertise in consultancy and industry, specialising in providing compliant and pragmatic environmental advice to private and public sector clients across Oil & Gas, Maritime, and Infrastructure sectors.
With extensive international experience spanning 22 countries across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, Abdul brings a unique global perspective to environmental due diligence, baseline assessments, and sustainability management.

Abdul’s technical capabilities include:
- Environmental due diligence and baseline assessments to World Bank IFC Performance Standards
- Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA)
- Contaminated land and groundwater investigation and remediation
- Sustainability reporting and compliance (EU Renewable Energy Directive, ISO14001)
- Environmental compliance auditing and legal compliance reviews
- Stakeholder engagement and social impact management
- Greenhouse gas emissions monitoring and environmental management systems
Experience
Throughout his career, Abdul has managed environmental due diligence assessments across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East for major multinational clients. He has led multidisciplinary environmental teams on large-scale infrastructure, oil and gas, and renewable energy projects, delivering ESIAs for UNICEF WASH interventions, FPSO fabrication facilities, port developments, and free zone projects.
As Environmental Affairs & Sustainability Manager on a Greenfield renewable bioenergy project, Abdul implemented strict sustainability standards and innovative social solutions. He has provided technical leadership on environmental compliance for major oil and gas operators including Bapco, Tullow Oil, and Tatweer Petroleum, and conducted strategic environmental assessments for port masterplans and major infrastructure developments. Abdul has also supported ISO14001 certification and environmental management system development for various clients.
Abdul combines technical excellence with strong commercial awareness, ensuring environmental solutions are both compliant and practically deliverable. His experience spans from field investigations through to strategic environmental policy implementation.
